The company plans to use the funds to continue its expansion worldwide. The first robots have already been deployed in New York City, and go-to-market strategies are underway for major cities around the globe.

Led by CEO Michael Brown, Skyline Robotics is the creator of OZMO, a robot that combines artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and advanced robotics and sensors. OZMO aims to address industry challenges such as labor shortages and worker safety.

The recent funding round comes after Skyline Robotics was granted key patents for its OZMO window-cleaning platform in Japan and Singapore. To date, the company has raised $12 million in funding.
