Featuring a working temperature of 3,600°F/2,000°C, Duocel SiC foam uses an open-celled structure, enabling fluid flow through its high surface area and low-volume porous media. Duocel SiC foam offers versatile options for various applications. It can be skinned to create sandwich structures or impregnated with MAX phase for improved strength, enabling a working temperature above 4,500°F/2,500°C. ERG Aerospace says its experience with defense-grade design and manufacturing helps with the production of custom-shaped parts that are ready for implementation.

In addition to Duocel SiC foam, ERG Aerospace offers foam solutions in aluminum 6101 alloy, copper and glassy carbon. These foam variants provide additional options to meet diverse industry requirements. ERG Aerospace is certified as AS9100.

ERG Aerospace will be exhibiting new technology at CAMX 2023 in Atlanta this October. Plan to meet up with their team or get registered here!
