Godzilla Day is set to occur on November 3, 2023. To commemorate the 69th annual celebration of the iconic franchise, fans can pick up some unique merch, tickets to Godzilla Minus One, and more.
Toho International announced its Godzilla Day lineup of activities and merch on Wednesday, beginning with ticket sales for its upcoming film Godzilla Minus One. The highly anticipated Japanese film will arrive in theaters in the United States on December 1, 2023, but tickets will be available to pre-order beginning on November 3. Action Toy
Alongside the ticket information, other Godzilla-themed content will make its way out to theaters and streaming services. On November 3, Pluto TV’s Godzilla channel will begin a marathon of Godzilla content, going through a ton of fan-favorite films. At 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, a special stream will occur with special guests providing commentary as well.
On November 1, Godzilla 2000 will arrive in U.S. theaters once again for a special one-day screening. Tickets for that can be purchased on Fathom’s website.
Finally, Shout! TV will be celebrating Godzilla Day on November 3 with an encore presentation of Masters of Monsters, the 2022 TV special featuring John Carpenter and going through four monster films.
Toho International also announced that a plethora of merch related to Godzilla would be coming out on November 3. The official Godzilla Store will be updated on the date to include limited merch, a SpaceGodzilla Soft Vinyl figure, the Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla vinyl soundtrack, and more.
Outside of the Godzilla Store, a handful of other companies will be celebrating Godzilla Day. Kinokuniya will be importing new Godzilla items into its store. Funko will also release four all-new Godzilla pop figures, and Mondo will be releasing limited edition screen printed posters for various films, as well as a special variant of its Mechagodzilla figure, and the Godzilla 2000: Millennium and Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla soundtracks on vinyl.
Super7 and YouTooz will also be getting in on the fun, with Super7 releasing three all-new Godzilla figures on its ReAction line, as well as new Godzilla figures from its Ultimates line. YouTooz will also be releasing a Godzilla and Mothra Plush, as well as a Godzilla coffee mug for fans to purchase.
